Calling All Big Look Members: Fighting for Palestine

Our world is facing another fight, alongside the many racial issues oppressing the US and third-world countries: the focus for this article are the Palestinians, fighting for the lives to escape the restrictions put on their human rights. Gaza is currently under attack by Israel - bombed with warplanes and raiding the cities of Gaza at high force. Many lives are being lost in the midst of these vicious attacks and families are being torn apart, leaving both children and parents to ask themselves- how much worse can this get? It is time to call upon all of our Big Look members to raise awareness: Palestinian Lives Matter. Below are several ways you can contribute to helping Palestinians in Gaza and in the United States to support their families living in Gaza cities.

Read the perspective of some passionate youth towards the cause and how they feel about the crisis.

"As an Arab Muslim, I can say that the Palestinian fight for independence and the reestablishment of their own country is not a war. It is a genocide. It is unacceptable to let the Palestinians suffer and be attacked by the Israeli soldiers and settlers on their own land in clear violations of many decisions from the United States since 1967. Palestine was a country long before Israel was established. It is not fair to keep Gaza separated from the rest of Palestine and besieged for more than 15 years. Israel has to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian land, and Palestinians deserve to live freely from fear and without any restrictions in their own land. Kids, parents, and family members are being killed due to the bombings and air strikes, and it's truly heartbreaking. The Palestinians are being thrown out of their homes and becoming homeless which is not right at all whatsoever. Palestine deserve freedom and justice. Free Palestinians until it's backwards!"
